Saxonia Hall is the home of the German Canadian Club of Aylmer. We're proud to host events and cultural groups that preserve and promote our heritage, offer hall rentals for weddings and special events, and run monthly German food sales featuring our famous Saxonia Hall schnitzel and cabbage rolls.

Frozen, fully cooked and made in our kitchen by volunteers: schnitzel, cabbage rolls, smoked hall sausage, warm potato salad, pretzels and more. Ordering is open now.

Trachtenball

Our annual celebration of Transylvanian Saxon culture and costume, with dinner and dancing to the TCK Hofbrau Band.
Christkindl Market
Saturday, November 28 to Sunday, November 29, 2026, 10:00am to 4:00pm
Our annual German Christmas market with local vendors and the hall's German Christmas brunch. Free admission, both days 10am to 4pm.
Rent the hall
A banquet hall for 430 with a stage and two bars, the Bavarian Lounge for 90, a biergarten under the trees, and five acres of field out back. Weddings, anniversaries, fundraisers, meetings, car shows.
We are volunteers, so we take bookings by application and only as many as we can staff well. Start with the form and we will get back to you.
Folk groups
Kids from age 4, youth and adults from 13. Learn German and Transylvanian Saxon dances, travel to festivals, and borrow a costume. No experience needed.
Join the club
Our members keep the hall going. Social members hear about events first and get rental discounts. Voting members help steer the club.
